Human warmth is felt as soon as you arrive in this small central American country. We will see for

has been leading a strict pro­ecological policy. More than 30% of the area is protected with

national parks shaping the green image of the country. With such an eco­system – which covers

5% of the planet’s bio­diversity – tourism has become one of the main economic strengths.

Between eco­tourism and « pura vida » Costa Rica (with its 98% production of green energy in

2015) is one of the rising countries in this century.

Will it be able to reconcile its search for wellbeing and bio­diversity with economic growth ?
